Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the iBoxy mobile app and related cloud services. By using iBoxy, creating an account, joining a shared account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use iBoxy.
What iBoxy Does
iBoxy helps you create, update, move, edit, and search storage inventories for boxes, bins, drawers, totes, rooms, shelves, and other containers.
You can use voice recordings, text search, and direct editing to manage container names, locations, and item lists.
Accounts
You may try iBoxy in free mode without creating an account. Paid cloud sync, long-term cloud storage, account sharing, and expanded container limits require a paid subscription or access through a paid shared account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account or shared access.
Free Mode
Free mode is intended for trying iBoxy before upgrading. Free mode may limit the number of containers and may store test inventory only on your device for a limited time, currently 72 hours.
Free mode data may be lost if the app is deleted, local storage is cleared, the device changes, or the free mode storage period expires.
Subscriptions and Billing
iBoxy Pro is currently planned as an annual subscription. The initial paid plan is $50 per year for up to 100 containers, with additional container capacity planned at $25 per year for each extra 100 containers.
Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized billing provider. Store rules, taxes, renewal timing, cancellation, refunds, and payment processing may be handled by the store or billing provider.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal through the applicable store or subscription management flow. If you cancel, access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period, subject to the store's rules.
AI Features and Accuracy
iBoxy uses AI to transcribe and interpret natural language requests. AI may misunderstand speech, spelling, container names, item names, locations, quantities, or intent.
You are responsible for reviewing inventory results and correcting mistakes by voice or direct editing. iBoxy is an organization tool and should not be used as the only record for critical, regulated, hazardous, medical, legal, financial, or high-value inventory.
Voice Recordings
Voice recording starts only after you tap the microphone button and stops when you tap again, when the recording limit is reached, or when the app stops recording.
Recordings are intended to be processed for transcription and inventory analysis, then deleted after processing. If processing fails, the app may ask you to repeat the recording.
Your Content
Your Content includes container names, locations, item names, edits, voice requests, transcripts, search queries, sharing invitations, and other information you add to iBoxy.
You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant iBoxy permission to host, process, transmit, display, sync, and analyze Your Content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the app.
Sharing and Invited Users
Paid account owners may invite other users to access a shared iBoxy inventory by QR code, email invitation, or other sharing method.
Invited users may be able to view, add, edit, move, and search shared inventory. The account owner is responsible for deciding who should have access and for removing access when appropriate.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse iBoxy, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the app except where legally allowed, use the service to violate the law, upload malicious content, abuse AI or cloud resources, or infringe another person's rights.
You also agree not to use iBoxy to store or share content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, exploitative, or intentionally misleading.
Service Changes and Availability
iBoxy may change, add, or remove features as the app develops. Some features may require internet access, app updates, store approval, provider availability, or an active subscription.
We do not guarantee that iBoxy will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device or operating system version.
Third-Party Services
iBoxy may rely on third-party services for cloud hosting, authentication, AI transcription and analysis, subscription management, app stores, email handling, diagnostics, and other app functions.
Those services may have their own terms and policies. iBoxy is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Privacy
Your use of iBoxy is also governed by the iBoxy Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared.
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and cloud inventory when the production deletion workflow is connected. Deleting an account may permanently remove cloud inventory and sharing access.
Deleting the app from a device does not necessarily cancel a subscription or delete cloud account data. Subscriptions must be managed through the applicable store or billing provider.
No Warranty
iBoxy is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
We do not guarantee that inventory records, AI outputs, search results, or cloud sync will always be complete or correct.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, iBoxy and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost inventory, replacement costs, or business interruption.
Where liability cannot be excluded, liability will be limited to the amount you paid for iBoxy during the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if no payment was made, unless a different limit is required by law.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold iBoxy and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the app, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the app, providers, store requirements, or laws change. If changes are significant, we will update the date and may provide additional notice in the app.
Continuing to use iBoxy after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
